i did play but ive traded in recently because ive heard fifa manager 08 is very good but i do love football manager still ive had every football manager since 2003

I play, a fair few games into my new game with Anderlecht at the moment, it's a good game. :] A hell of a lot better than FM 07.. which I despised. I'm glad to see less games of:

Your team - 25 shots, 0 goals.
Their team - 2 shots, 1 goal.

Yeah, I'm nearing the end of season 3, first 2 seasons I was Portsmouth manager, didn't win anything; they fired me cos I went from 6th to 13th over the 2 seasons; and now I'm with Southampton (Fierce Rivals? Fault much). And am trying to avoid relegation currently!

Bit harsh to get sacked for that imo. Did you by any chance get ridiculously high expectations? I haven't been Portsmouth but for some other teams you're expected do the impossible.

Reach Europe by the end of a 2 year plan (this was a new contract after the first season). Not my fault I kept getting injuries

Sucks when that happens, I got Bradford up from League 2 and on the first few games on the next season got about 6 major injuries in 4 games, was mental. :| I was doing a network game with a friend and he had 7 players sent off in 4 games, he wasn't happy.. but it was pretty hilarious. ;D

I got Robinho and Mascherno on a free transfer in season 2010-2011.. was mint lol, apart from Robinho wanting 140k per week!
