    Default Adverts Ruin Movies?

Ive seen a quite large amount of films and recently ive felt that seeing adverts and knowing what happens in the film ruins part of the experience of watching it, for example

i dont mean adverts during the film, i mean like you see the film being advertised on tv with the plot pretty much in the trailer and it ruins the film when you watch it

It's called a teaser, you can't piece it together until you've actually watched the film, they use the eye-catching pieces to draw an audience in, unless they have established stars in which they usually just depict who they are.

I am really proud of the way that Cloverfield was advertised, almost 100% internet based only releasing Television adverts within like 2 days of the film being released. Kept me researching more and more about it and then i became obsessed

Oh right, I see what you mean. Well, they have to give away part of the story on the TV spots to draw people in. Annoying it may be at times, but that's what gets people amped for the film.

Regardless, who thought that there was a chance that Stallone would not go after the Christian Aid workers? The other three were terribly predictable, and Stallone sure as hell didn't write First Blood Part IV for story.
