Going Skiing tomorrow
got to meet for half 5 at school,
never been before,
Just wondering has anyone been skiing before ?
Was it any good ?

Ive been before, with my school infact. I dont know about you, but i went to a dry ski slope before to "get into skiing" may i just say its so much easier on the snow. Its great when your "skiing". Even cross country is good, but when your learning on a really small slope its pretty crap. Its great when your going over 20mph and having to do a parallel turn at the end.

It really is good, when i went i had a bottom class, middle class and top class, i started in the bottom because id never been before. BUT after my first 2 lessons i was asked to go in the top class..... as the first two were 3 hours long. 6 hours
So its all good. Im going to Scotland next year to ski Have fun - Lampard enthusiast

My school is going skiing tomorrow. They're going to Austria. I was going to go but I don't really want to go with the school and do whatever they want to do. I want to go skiiing but not with the school.

They're leaving at 4:00pm to catch the 11:50pm ferry from Dover. What a stupid time to leave.

Yeah you will have a great time, I went for the first time at half term with my school and it was awesome. Although there were a few people in the group who didn't pick it up as well or as fast so they held the top ones back a bit meaning you still had to go down smaller slopes until they were ready.
