Are you sure you need that?

Class 3B laser products -direct intrabeam viewing may be hazardous but under certain conditions they may be safely viewed via a diffuse reflector-output power of continuous wave not exceeding 0.5W-examples: lasers for physiotherapy treatments

    EDIT: Does this answer it?

There is only one type of laser pointer currently Legal for General public presentation use in the United Kingdom. The requirements are that is that Class II type and that it is less than one Milliwatt in Power and has a momentary switch.
    Found that here: http://www.blueskymarketing.co.uk/laser_pointer/

afaik they're not illegal to import.. I once got an 8mw (i think) laser from eBay, it was great, very powerful. I think they're actually illegal, just don't get caught with one.. I don't think there's a heavy punishment, they'll probably just take it off you and maybe fine you a bit.

    I lost mine, I think.

I'm not sure about the legality of these anymore, i remember when i was in primary school there was a huge fuss about them on the news, this was like 8 years ago now though. As far as i'm aware they are not illegal. I happen to have a 100Mw green laser pointer
