Default How long to gain visible muscle?

    I have YORK Fitness Dumbells.

How long will it take to see it working?

I will use about 30 minutes each day.
Do 100 sit ups each day.
    50 press ups.

And starting soon: run for 30 minutes each day.

It would take you slightly longer.
    Around 12 weeks.
50 Sit ups, would only focus your abs, which is toning, you wont gain muscle, unless your turning current fat into slight muscle.
and pressups, you need muscle before you can physically do them.
    Id say.

    About 14 weeks.

If you want visible muscles you should lift weigths.. Find you max and do 4-5, then break, and do 3 times.. If you want strong but not so visible muscles find something you can do 9 times then a small break then 9 again, small break and another 9.

It depends on quite a few factors. Start of with ligher weights then increase.
As for your abs, you'll have to do some varying cardio to get your body fat low so they become visible. Then of course you can start toning them and working them etc, to see results.

push ups aren't really good for building muscle, but they strengthen your arms, and well, it's always good if you can hold your own weight for a decent amount of push ups.

Just be consistent and push yourself.

    Diet is just as important/

It's very unrealistic to do 30Minutes of running, 100 sit-ups and 50 press-up in one day. Seven days a week for a steady period of time. Depending on your age and current fitness. Can you run for 30minutes at a comfortable pace making sure your heart rate is in the aerobic thresehold around 55%-90% of your MHR. Press-ups aren't a very effective method of increasing the strength in your arms. Depending on what you want to achieve it would vary however for basic strength and muscular bulk you would want to do about 5-7Reps. So find a weight that is relatively heavy for you and that you can do 5-7reps not comfortably but straining yourself. For power in your arms your looking for 7-12 and endurance is anything up to 25-30 depending on the weight your lifting. Considering you have dumbells I don't think they are all that useful in building muscle bulk on your arms. Free weights or a weight machine would be more effective. Anyway just because you want to be really aerobicly fit, have a six pack and muscular arms all of a sudden doesn't mean you can physically do it all at once. Going from nothing to 50 press-ups, 100 sit-ups and a 30minute run is simply ridiculous. I'd recommend running no more than 3-4 times a week and if your looking for muscular bulk use your dumbells and hold them across your chest with the sit-ups and do less repititions.

If you're really desperate, go to holland and barret and get that protein powder for muscle growth. speeds up the process but is very expensive.
