This is in the wrong forum, there is now a "help" forum.
I am pretty sure this is not possible. the .htaccess is read before the PHP is parsed, due to it being with Apache.
due to this, you not going to be able to edit it dynamicly as it is not parsed as PHP.
You would most likely have to update it manually, with fopen, fwrite (not sure if it will open .htaccess or not..)
Just experiment with it, that is usually the key to everything.
You could always Google: dynamic htaccess php
If anything doesn't want to work, try doing it with PHP's FTP functions.
