    Default windows 2000 error pleasse help

    hi im getting this when i start up my laptop
    windows 2000 cannot start because WINNT\system32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys is missing or corrupt please run originalup disk to repair.

    problem is i dont have the windows 2000 start up disk so what do i do? i have a windows xp start up disk so is there a way i could just upgrade it please help thanks

    tryed using the windows xp disk but i didnt get it so problem still there

    obv windows xp disc wont work with 2000...

    Can you run the system in safe mode or is that messed too?
