This is one great website I found on StumbleUpon (seriously, I'm in love with SU). The idea is that you click on the mood/dance chart and it will take you to a style of music which will be in that sort of mood e.g. Positive got me Shakira - Whenever, Wherever! It's pretty good, especially since all songs are FREE & you can listen to AS MANY AS YOU WANT.

It gets better though, once you get a mood it links to 10-15 songs depending on what youve chosen for your genres of music & what era you want the music from. You can have from back in the 50's onwards to today, and it has made me find some musical gems I've forgetten about. You skip songs by pressing the ">>" button and it'll move onto the next song in the list. If you click on the song you'll get a whole new list of songs to listen to.

If you register up, you also get the power to choose your favourite songs, and to ban songs you don't like. You can access your favourite songs too and you can view a list + previews of the songs. If you buy premium membership you get high quality music, but at the moment it's low-fi for free members. Oh and if you get premium membership (4 euros a month i think) then you get direct access to your favourite songs, no previews and high quality!

I'm in love with it and I haven't used WMP because of it lol. I suggest you register, srssssly.

    ooh cool.

i know pandora is nothing to do with moods, but it reminds me of that.
    http://www.pandora.com/

and last.fm in a way because you can search tags and i suppose searching moods would work.

but yeah i'll have a look later.
