Just wondering, why is there a set time between searching for something? Is it really needed? It's so annoying!

So that the forum doesn't become too lagged up with a high ammount of users searching.

It used to be 30 seconds it's not that long, it's just there to stop abuse really and ease stress on the server.

Yeah its annoying when that happens, but theoretically if someone was bored enough they could cause the forum to go down by uberlagging it by continually searching.
If you remember, something similar happened when people copied threads over and over in their VIP forums.It costs nothing to be a good friend.
