Mario Kart Wii; End Credits?

Usually you'd push the START button but .... there isn't one on the Wii controller :|

Start works on the gamecube controller, but you can't skip them if you're watching it for the first time. That means you have to watch the credits four times (50cc, 100cc, 150cc and Mirror). So unless its the first time for whatever cc you completed then you can't skip them, if not, there must be a way.

It wouldn't let me skip them first, but eventually I could press start to get rid of them. :S

Just leave them running, go out for a jog, grab a subway, rob a bank and when you come back they may be finished.

You have to watch them the first time, then try pressing "+" on your Wii remote and you can normally skip them providing you have seen them in full. I remember it being the same on Mario Kart DS.
