I can't say I like it.. mind you I don't like any frameworks, I prefer making my own code so I'm not dragged down by licenses and errors that I have to go traipsing through the code to find.

I don't like it. I had to use PEAR for a book/course, and I didn't like that too. I personally prefer my own code, as I know it better and understand it, and it is easier to fix my own code, and as Dan said, licenses suck.

Pear and ZFW is different to PEAR and work in different ways, and do many different things.

Pear is sort of like an RPM system (YUM, APT-GET), as it is more of a distribution/package system.

ZFW is different.
