Default Sleep my dog or not.

I have a white "Samolledo" and he has diabetes, as day passes he is getting more and more blind, hes becomming more agresive and falls with everything in the house.

I think he is suffering, but should I decide for him when to die? or just wait for God to take him?

god does not exist so waiting for god to take him, youll be waiting a long time.

dont put him down. hes just going blind and when dogs go blind they get scared wait for him to calm down and he will be fine. him getting a little agressive is nothing, imagine how ****** off you would be if you were going blind and your mum and dad wanted to put you down..

    Hard decision.

If you think its best for the dog so it doesn't have to suffer any longer, get it put to sleep. If its something you can all get used to and care for your dog more, keep it.

We had to get our old lab put to sleep 'cos he was blind and kept walking into anything and everything (it was funny but mean at same time) and then he had some thing wrong with his legs so it was best for him

If its in pain, than putting it to sleep is the best option. Its horrible, i should know, but its better for the dog.

Ask your vet for advice. Is it an old dog? if it is then they will advise you to have it put down.

    Sorry

If he/she dosn't have any quality of life, then its best to put them to sleep.

But if he/she isn't suffering and enjoys walks and people then no.

It's a hard decision to make.

But you just have to think, what would you like to happen if you were in that situation? Would you live as much as you could, but in pain and misery, or would you let it end, knowing your owners are doing it for the best?

I think a vet would be the ultimate person to ask.

Put him down, sounds harsh I know but my Dog was suffering and the whole time I was with him I was just worrying about him, he was in alot of pain and after having his put down it was a big weight off my mind too. Its a sad time but it wont be as bad as you think, ultimatley the Dog doesnt know whats going on and its painless for it.
