Samsung G600 charge problem laptop>USB>phone

Ok my charger is at work and i have the week off

so I am tryin to charge my phone from the usb data transfer cable that should work i believe, correct?

it comes on occasionally reads chargin then after 5 seconds turns back off

any help would be appriciated and rewarded if good advice

Maybe you have to have the PC program running to make it charge?

Ye there might be a sync thing on your mobile (usually under the heading of connectivity) click that then run the program that came with it and it should start to charge,

if that doesnt work, i think sometimes you need USB 2.0 ports to enable charging (not sure though so no flaming if im wrong pls)

Can you not just pop into work during the week?
