PS2 Game Help

Ok so I recently went to the US for a holiday and while I was there I brought a copy of GTA: SA, forgetting about region codes etc.

So of course when I get home and put it into my PS2, it just says "Please insert a PS2 or PS1 Disc".

So now my question becomes clear...is it possible for me to change the discs region or my PS2's region. I really don't wanna do the whole "Mod" thing so that's a no, and I know there is stuff out there like Cogswap and Swap Magic, but software isn't really available where I am.

So does anybody know how to do this.

I doubt you can change the region.

The only way would be for you to modify the PS2. The discs are hard copies and cannot be altered.

It is possible. I have an "xploader" (i think it is) cheat disc thing that you put in and there's on option to play differnt region games so you go on that option and change the disc to the game and it works i think. Never tried it though.

You can get someone to chip/flash your PS2 and then that will work for all regions.

PS2 Slim has 3 sensors, block them off, there is a video on youtube how do to it with 3 pieces of card, you can take off once done.

Yer but I need Swap Magic or Cogswap, even if I block sensors.

Swap Magic only costs a few bob on eBay. Why not just buy it?

Eh stuff it, I'll just buy the PAL version.
