    Default dvd burning help

    hi all,
    i burnt a .avi to a DVD-R, it works fine on the dvd player downstairs, dosnt play at all on the dvd combo tv upstairs, players poor quality on another dvd player
    whats the problem?

    If you burnt the avi directly then you need a DivX DVD Player to play it. If you encode it from AVI to DVD then it should play on all players.
