Banner and Better content, and remove the useless boxes, IMO I don't like it one bit, but you can improve on that.

I agree - it does seem a little dull.
Other than that it looks quite nice

[Decode]

Change the gray boxes to white boxes, and you may want to make the width abit smaller becuase people with small screens wount be able to view it properly. But overall its a nice layout, well done
