I understand not revealing the information on the thread title; but why should we have to use spoiler tags within the post if it's obvious that it's giving information about TV shows out?

I'm not sure if that made sense, but there's no point in using spoilers when the thread is obviously going to be spoiling the information...

Spoilers serve no real purpose in Live TV shows or in threads where the title is a big giveaway :/

agreed, the use of spoilers is getting ridiculous. If you go into a thread called, for example, dr who: last episode discussion, its bound to reveal info on it in every post. The moderators have had to edit a tonne of posts in a lot of the entertainment threads because they all talk about one thing that's in a spoiler so its classed as spoiler info.

I think you should just have a warning thread saying it is not necessary to use spoilers in threads but it is recommended etc

As it has been said before, if it's live or has happend then no spoilers don't need to be used.

Wheres if someone has seen an episode of a series say online from another country and post something about that then yes a spolier should be used.

I think it just needs to be delivered into the moderation procedure and made clear as to what we should and shouldn't do as yes it can get silly having a thread full of spoilers when you can just put it in the title, and if you choose to read the thread yu can't blame anyone for giving anything away.

I got infracted for discussing a 2 day old news which was officially released by big brother. ColdPlay should re-read he defenition of the word spoiler.

I wish the Moderator's would spend their time implementing spoilers into posts with huge images that stretch the page, it would be time spent much more wisely

Yes but most people don't look at the website for every single update, so people don't want information revealed to them before they watch it on the big brother so it is fair to put spoilers but as far as spoiler tags in a thread Moderators just enforce the rules we don't make them
