    Default Heart Murmur.

Well, my brother went to hospital last night because he kept fainting, loosing his sight and hearing and I got the word today from my dad that the doctors said he had Heart Murmur. They're not sure how bad it is etc yet, I'm still waiting on the phone call but I have some questions that would help if they're answered.

    Can it be life threatening?

If his murmur isn't a very serious one, can it get worse?

I have a condition where I get heart murmurs fairly frequently, yet luckily for me, they aren't too serious ones. I have the occasional bad one though.

Normally when you have one, they don't just disappear as far as I know, but I don't think they are life threatening.

    Hope your brother gets better.

The hospital thought I had a heart murmur, but by the time I got an appointment at my doctors, it had disappeared.

If the problem persists, a simple operation can fix a murmur.
