School compared to in Portugal.

I was wondering whats different to my school in the algarve to yours in the united of kingdom.

First, whats your time you go to school? Mine is monday and wednesday 12:30pm-6:00pm and tues, thur and fri. 8:00AM-12:45pm

And on your grades each year, you need to get atleast 1 A, 2Bs, If you get 2 C's or 1C or anything lower than C you have to redo the year.
Secondary school starts in year 10 for us.

Is it the same in UK?

Every school day for me:

Start - 8:45 - 3:25

Secondary School - Year 7

End of each year, 6 weeks holidays and then next year. Nvm bout your grades and tbh there's been a new addition to my school.. If you're really naughty, you have to redo the year, but they say that with a pinch of salt really.

8:40am till 3.00pm - All schools vary.

And we never have to redo years unless your really bad or you maybe have a disability (I know someone who this happened to).

i think they should make people redo years more in this country. Accept a higher standard, cause some people can get away with doing nothing.

We have exams at the end of each year and if you do really badly you have to do work over the sumemr or you get asked to leave

6 weeks break after the school year, always advance a year even if your grades are terrible.

by any chance do you go to a grammar school? because they get ridiculously long holidays . My school day when my lessons start is 9:20 - 3:40. hour lunch, 15 minute break. Were meant to be their at 9 but it never happens for me lol

I have similiar holidays but I have everyday from 8.25 - 4.00. We get the exams every year aswell.

My school starts at 8:55 and ends at 3:25 each day. We have one 20 min break and one 45 minute lunch, plus a 20 minute form time.

Oh, My end of year finished June 12th, I go back September 18th.
