    I'm really interested in photography (who isn't these days?:rolleyes but whatever anyway, I want a good camera which will take good photos.

    Like a canon camera or something, I have no idea what i'm looking for and I know some of you do, so please help me

    Don't get a Canon, get a Nikon, preferably a D50. Nikons are what most photographers use and there is a difference with reds between a Nikon and Canon. Canons can't really differenciate between darkreds and reds from say, a poppy flower. They will just show it as a red blodge and the shadows inbetween the petals and slightly darker blurs, rather than rich colours that contrast between the two.

    So anyway, Nikon A Nikon D-50 is very good for a starting camera.

    My canon is perfectly fine It gives me great shots, such as these(you can remove the time stamp just so you know)

    so yeah all in all i reckon its a great cam It's around £160 i think (canon ixus 80)
