    Default New Computer?

Hey guys, I'm currently using my sisters desktop computer for MS Flight Simulator 2004. (I use my mac mini for everything else) Anyway, she's not going to be here much longer and most likely taking her computer with her. So I need a new desktop computer that will run Flight Simulator 2004 great and smooth. I don't want to spend loads of £££££. I have been looking at the Dell XPS range, and quite like what they offer. But was wondering if you lot have any other recommendations. I would build a custom built one, but I don't have a clue where to start such as building them. So yeah, Hmm recommendations would be at least 2GB ram, And no less then a 320GB hard drive, also a good graphics card. Anything else, make it good. Max budget will be about £800.

I'm running a Packard Bell iMedia. Runs FSX really well, GeForce 7050.

That's what I have, it's quite decent for it's price.

What exactly do you need for £800? Monitor, speakers, printer, keyboard and mouse as well etc? And how comfortable are you about custom building?

I don't need a monitor, speakers, printer but keyboard and mouse would do. Hmm, Custom building. I guess I could do it but I would need some sort of guide or someone to help me along.

Matt, remind me later on on MSN to give you the links to where I built my desktop. All can be customised etc to your specification and found the service great for the price I was spending which is below your budget which helps

www.pcspecialist.co.uk lets you fully customize it, its basically building a custom PC but they build it for you, the prices are decent too.
