Default Formatting C:// Drive.. + Rep

Don't know if this is the right section.. so apologies if it is.

Anyway I just wondered if there was anyway you could format the computers primary drive (which is usually C) without the master disk (the disk supplied by the company)?

I know you can take the drive out and make it into a SLAVE drive then format it that way, I just wondered if there was an easier way?

    +rep for good answers

    Using C: to run Windows

Rules the DOS method out too.

Infact, you can just format the drive when you boot from the XP/Vista disk...
