    You've got a point there, but inevitably there are only so many chord sequences that you can play or use, its the same with books inevitably the ideas have been taken from something previous even if the writer is oblivious

    pft. they're both extremely simple chord progressions. pick that scale and there's a likely chance you'll get those same notes.

    not that it matters, cause neither of those songs are that good. if anything, at least coldplay's is a tad bit interesting.
