    Default Xbox through Laptop?

Theres a HDMI slot in the side of my laptop, does this mean I could use this as a means to play my Xbox in HD or not?

    Thanks

Nah, it will be an HDMI out port, meaning if you have an HDTV you can use that as an additional monitor.

I know that you can use a desktop monitor to show your game, but you still need to be at your TV to play. It can't be too different on a laptop I'm sure. But no, you can't get HD gameplay I'm afraid, unless your TV and console were already connected via an HDMI cable, and you had a high-def monitor.

You can use a VGA cable to connect it to a pair of speakers/your PCs line in and a computer monitor
