Default Bootcamp + Direct X 9 error. +Rep for help!

Im running bootcamp and trying to play the sims 2 apartment life. I have all the specs. I got a problem when running the game.

"Failed to enumerate any DirectX9 compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a directX 9 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest manufacture provided driver. The application will now terminate"

I updated my Direct X 9 and updated my drivers to the latest ones but i still get this error.

    Specs:

    2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    1GB memory
    250GB hard drive1
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory

Put in the Leopard restore disc 1 in XP, it will install the necasary drivers etc. for it to run properly. PS, bootcamps a *****, i ******* hate it, just removed my windows partition earlier on and it never put my Mac Drive to default... Anyway that should do the trick.

Ive installed all the drivers and reinstalled them. I did that from the disc and then upgraded them from the website so i kept alternating between the two to see if I could make it work but to no avail.
