Although when the oil does run out, it wants to be the #1 tourist destination in the world. Believe me, they stick by their promises.

i would actually say dubai is my favourite place to go in the world. there is a bad side to dubai, which is often hidden but nethertheless, it'll be the place to visit once everything is built.

I go to Dubai every year basically, but i'm not going this year and next year because of my GCSE's, but i always go to the beaches, and apparently that they rent their little islands, not far from the beach for a high cost, when i went there 2 years ago, i saw David Beckham there with his family.

Also when i go to Dubai, like in Britian there's always shops such as JD, Argos, Boots etc, while in Dubai, instead of that there is Jewellery shops, i spend nearly 500 quid on jewellery there because it's really cheap, while if i buy the same jewellery it might cost around 2 grand.

There roads are massive like USA, you never, yes i mean never you cannot see litter on the roads, but the two negative things are that there are no houses, people live in good flats but not in houses, if there are houses, it costs atlot. The heat there is boiling, you have to take like 2 litres of water a day with you so you can keep drinking instead of getting dehydrated.

there are quite alot of houses aka villas, but yeah, they are expensive. its usually better to get an apartment there anyway imo.

another negative thing i think is the labour. its been a massive problem in dubai for years, and the workers wages are so cheap. and i think a load of them r really pervy anyway. like you cant walk down a street without one just looking at you for ages lol.

Dubai is amazing, its such a nice place. i dropped by at the beginning of this year - its such a nice place, no litter, no crime (from what i saw) and the architecture (sp?) is just excellent! anyone THINKING of going, STOP THINKING! AND GO!
