From what I remember, might not be right:

Awards/Badges - They weren't going to happen and member of the month instead, judged by moderators would happen. But last month they were busy or something, and said it would happen this month.
Social Groups - A future VIP+ feature I think.

The badges got scraped and replaced with the awards, but the awards have not actually happened yet .
You mean Social groups? Apparently they were being tested but nothing else has been released regarding them :[.

Actually, the social groups are being added in the next update of vBulletin when theres less bugs i think.
