GoW2 Multiplayer Footage

A video has been leaked of people playing Gears of War 2 Multiplayer, and to be fair, it looks awful, identical to the original Gears of War if anything.

It's just all the same stuff, blood everywhere, running around and hiding and then spending 5 minutes killing everyone.

Last week the GoW2 developers were speaking of how Gears now reaches the maximum of the Xbox 360 console in terms of 'Maxing the system', but it looks all their incredibly detailed graphics (Which look poor I must mention), look a mess because they're that detailed.

I'm contemplating getting rid of my pre-order...

Tbh there wasn't anything wrong with gears 1 multiplayer asin the way it plays? And how can you judge off that? A handy cam is an awful way to present footage.

Looks good if you've seen the official videos instead of this 'leaked' version. Would look a lot better if they used a capture card, obviously them recording at that angle and stuff will make it look bad.

Sorry but I have to agree, it looks exactly the same as the first gears, it isn't impressive at all :s

But that looks as if it's Horde mode. You still have loads of new maps, weapons & finishers to experience. All that video really showed is shotgunning? (From where I watched up to.)

A map, gun and fancy way to kill someone is not impressive to me, it doesn't make a game anymore fun to have loads of ways to kill someone :S

Gears is just another average shooter with a ridiculous amount of gore, there is nothing really that good or appealing about it, since the first GoW Epic Games have been making pretty awful games

You're clearly not a fan of Gears of War then. Gow2 is a whole new experience but I won't go into detail. Just you're judging it a bit too early and before you've even played it yourself to enjoy it. That guy is terrible and the game so he's probably making it look suck-ish.

The only thing I liked about gears 1 was the story, I'm renting GoW2 for the story and I'll try the multiplayer when I do that, I'd probably buy it if I liked the multiplayer I'd probably buy it, I made the mistake of buying the first GoW and only playing the story because the multiplayer was rubbish

Once you give multiplayer a go on gow2 I think you'll like it. 3PS aren't really that good but gow2 will be sick. Especially if you just wanna sit back with mates killing bots on Horde mode.
