    Hey Well I need to send a birthday card to America. This is gonna sound stupid but all i gotta do is write on the envelope of the card the adress in America where i want it to go to and put it in the latter box? Cause i dont know if i gotta do anything special with it cause its going aborad? Thanks for advice +rep to awnsers

    well with postcards in a different country you just write an address of someone in the UK and it gets there so i guess the same applies from here to the US.

    I don't think it's gonna work. You probably have to bring it to the post office where they'll weigh it, sell you a stamp (not sure how much it costs), then you gotta say whether you want air mail or not. Then you drop it in the air mail box at the post office I think.

    That's how it works over here, not sure about UK, but probably the same...

    you need a special airmail or international stamp from the post office (or other stamp places). It'll say By Air/Par Avion.
