I KNOW it would be copying Runescape, but I wish there was a similar system to the Grand Exchange on Runescape...

How it could work:
There could be an awesome Public Space, where you have big machines, and you queue up to use them, and some sort of box comes up -

• You select the furni you wish to sell, and select the amount you want for it in credits.

• If you want to buy something, you'd go to a different booth, and choose the furni and amount you want, and put your offer up.

• If there are matching sales and offers, the trade would be done automatically, even if one of the habbos are offline.

• The Habbos would then go to a collection booth, and collect the furni/creds.

When a trade is done, an exclamation mark or notice would appear in the corner of the screen to let you know.

Another bonus would be if Habbo recorded the trades done, and made a report on the average values of furni. HOWEVER this would end up in habbo being able to value furni themselves, and as a result would render habbox useless, which a lot of people wouldn't like.

But if they actually did this, they could have bill boards in the public space, where pictures of furni scroll across and it shows whether the value has gone up or down recently.

Obviously the reason for this is so that we don't have to go around trade rooms flooding the room shouting at people. Surely no one enjoys this?

Once again, this is pretty much completely copying Runescape, and I do not know to which extent habbo can get away with this, and whether Runescape would kick up a fuss about it or not. So please do not start flaming me saying it's a copy of runescape because...

This would make trading so much easier, but I don't think it will be done because like you already said, it's too similar to Runescape.

Tbh I'm sure habbo could find a way of doing it and make it completely different to runescape at the same time. The fundamental idea is being able to trade without having to talk to people.

It wouldnt be copying runescape, its a simple market idea. Its been done thousands of times on games like Neopets, Pokemon (Trading) etc. I think they should do it.

It could be done, Becuase coke music have the "Trax" idear first then Habbo came along and created it on the same bases, Runescape wouldn't have a "Patten" for trade system "Patten" = Copyrighted IDEA So it could be done.

Patent is a copyrighted idea.

And it could be abused, people could put up things for sale at ridiculously high prices and have their clone or friend wish to buy it at a ridiculously high price, thus messing up Automated Habbo's stats and values.

i think its a pretty good idea.
i dont play rs so i wouldn't know whats its likes.

but like as someone [im sure] said up there,
people would abuse the system i guess.

you would get the noobs selling their beginner chair for 6t's and then complain that no-one is buying it.
