The top category the bit that says DJ and radio staff, the side columns are a different width (the ones i set them to) than the category underneath.

Ive just split the categories up with a script i found on vbulletin.com and it doesnt pass on the width attributes to the other categories

You dont need a script to have different categories.

And do you mean the white strips on either side? Im good with making forums if you need help.

On the thread you posted (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156783) there were a load of "if you have this problem, try this" bits, with images. I can't see the images because I don't have an account, but have you tried them all?
