Does anyone know how to fix this? Before I got my new hard drive I had firefox and I didn't have to go

www.google.ca or google.ca in the address bar I could just go google or I could just go pancakes and it would take me to google. I know I didn't have to add extensions for google and now it says

Firefox can't load this page for some reason.

I don't know how to fix this.

Set the default search engine to google, so soon as you search google it'll take you to google.co.uk and if you type anything in address bar without extension takes you to google.

Did you edit your hosts file?
Or you could use OpenDNS, which has shortcuts included.
