Well I was in a game the other day and they were talking about getting headshots with the shotgun and some guy said that you get some sort of scope/sight for it, so I guess attachments really.

No you get scopes and stuff from kills, it's exactly the same as CoD4 just headshots give you nothing, getting every challenge for every shotgun wont give you a gold shotgun
