The Habbox Drop-in Room
Hey
We have recently discussed making a Habbox Drop-in Room, I am pleased to say the idea has gone ahead and the room has now been made, and due to open shortly. In this post you can find out about why we're having a Drop-in, who will be running it and lots of other information!
What is the Habbox Drop-in Room?
The Habbox Drop-in Room is a room on the UK Hotel owned by Seacat. Habbox staff will be there regularly, and you will be able to give ideas to them for Habbox: for example what you think could be improved, changed or anything else.
What happens with my idea?
If you give an idea and it is relevant to Habbox then it will be discussed in the staff forums, and in Habbox staff meetings. If the idea is approved by other members of staff, and Habbox management then the idea may go ahead, or be taken into consideration for future projects.
Who works in The Habbox Drop-in Room?
People who take ideas in The Habbox Drop-in Room don't 'work' there, they just help out. Any member of Habbox Staff can help out. These people will be chosen by the manager of their department each week, and asked if they would like to help out for that particular week.
Can I get a job in The Habbox Drop-in Room?
Unfortunately if you're not Habbox Staff then you can't help out in the Drop-in room behind the bar, however you can help out by giving us your ideas and constructive criticism for Habbox.
Where can I find The Habbox Drop-in Room?
You can find The Habbox Drop-in room by searching Seacat on your navigator on the UK Hotel, and scrolling down to the bottom room, labelled: The Habbox Drop-in Room
The Habbox Drop-in Room Rules
If The Habbox Drop-in room is going to be a successful room, then visitors will have to abide by the following rules:
- If giving criticism on something, make sure the criticism is construtive, and therefore will help in some way. For example saying 'The News is absolutely rubbish!' isn't construtive criticism, whereas saying 'The News could do with a few more International Reporters' is constructive.
- If you are giving an idea, then sit on the majestic chairs, if you are just in the room to chat, then sit on the Throne sofas: this makes it so people who have ideas can get their ideas across, and people who have given their ideas/just want a chat don't get in the way.
- Respect other peoples' views: If you see a person give an idea for Habbox that you don't agree with, then don't cause a scene and say you hate the idea, let the Habbox staff note down the idea and discuss it with others,
- When you've given your idea, either leave the room or sit on the Throne Sofas: If you stay sat on the Majestics and don't move after been asked you will be kicked. This is because other people need to take your space to give their ideas after you've given yours.
Of course these are just specific rules for the room, obviously the Habbo Way must be followed aswell.
I hope you find The Habbox Drop-in Room is a useful way of getting your ideas/points across, however, please be aware that just because you give an idea doesn't necessarily mean we will use it the day after, or even at all. All ideas that are seen to be useful will be discussed.
If you have any more questions then please do not hesitate to PM me, if the questions will be of use to others then I will edit this post and add them above with the answer I give you.
Thanks, Seacat!
The Habbox Drop-in Room owner.
