TehUpload Application V2.1

Well me and Matt have been playing with this thing all morning.. and I think we're in love with it.

The thing we have introduced this time, is hotkeys. Let me tell you, they are lifesaving.

But lets get on with it. Here's a quick list of the hotkeys (they are all sorta lined up on the keyboard, so you can use them quick):

Ctrl+Alt+A: Area, blue box where you drag it ^_^.
Ctrl+Alt+S: Normal screenshot
Ctrl+Alt+D: ONLY active window.
Ctrl+Alt+C: Copy from clipboard and upload. If there is an image in your clipboard, it will upload it.

Ctrl+Alt+F: PAINLESS QUICK upload. It pulls it out of your clipboard, and automatically puts the link in your clipboard. This is a lifesaver.

Basically the best part is the hotkeys, I'm in love with them.. majorly. They are a timesaver.



It literally cuts about 90% of the time it takes to get your image out there.



Expect this within the next few days! I'm finishing it up, and finishing up recoding a few things.

I'll pass the BETA file around to a few people who's tested it before.

Didnt you have Hotkeys in the last version of the TehUpload app? :S You didn't have the upload straight from clipboard, so thats a pretty good idea.

It all sounds pretty good, maybe you should make a option to upload to a certain album instead of always App? That would probably be the handiest thing to have. I think if you retrieved all the album names from the website and displayed them in a dropdown for uploading files, that'd be nice. I guess what I'm saying is, the option to change the default upload album.

Nothing much else you can make better about it, the app is pretty fantastic. Looking forward to the release.

I've reworked the way that these hotkeys interact with Windows.

The thing with the album is the application has to cater to those users with and without TehUpload accounts.

And I'm still learning C#, so adding that in would be rather difficult, but don't worry.. It will get better ^_^.

It should.. vista is stupid when it comes to that.. it's basically the install that does it.

You don't need UAC anyway.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I took the "Clipboard" button out of it, it no longer brings up that silly window, that asks you if you want to upload from clipboard, it just automatically does it.

I have to say my favorite is this "quick-clipboard" upload.

It's always your computer it doesn't want to work on with UAC control on. Give Program Files/TehUpload write permission to everyone.

Any chance of a Linux version as I liked using it when I was using Windows?

I've never wrote any Linux programs.

I'd love to have a Mac version, and Linux version.. but I don't have the resources to program either one of them.

It would be great! Of course, hmm..

I'd love for people with time to write some 3rd party applications, or libraries for the API.
