    Default Computer cleaning

    This may sound very stupid, but thought I would ask people who may know.

    If I took my computer case off and then hoovered out the inside, would it make it more efficient, run quicker?

    It shouldn't have an effect on the performance, but removing dust from the fan ect should prevent overheating.

    Well, i cant see any other effects, CCleaner should help you speed up your pc, it's free also.

    Thanks mate, I used that before but didn't see much of a difference.

    Result's vary, theres more 'junk' on some computers than others, yours might be cleaner so to speak than others.

    Don't go sticking a hoover pipe into it, it causes a build up of static electricity and may fry it.
