Just got the Red Ring of Death on my 360 with the three lights for the second time this year :eusa_wall Is there anything that can be done apart from sending it away?

You could try taking it back to where you got it but I doubt they would exchange it. Worth a try though.

Towel trick never worked for a mate of mine, he was rather gutted. Shame about time of year too!

Just try and send it back as quick as possible. I got rrod the other day aswell, getting a tele for christmas aswell. You should have it back in 2 weeks
