Rapidshare Internet Download Manager Proxy Problem

So I'm trying to download Rapidshare files through a Proxy website, hidemyass.com and whenever I click the GO button on the proxy website when I've copy and pasted the link into the proxy, IDM comes up as downloading a webpage instead of a file. Why is this? Thanks.

Do it at school, thats what I do. I've downloaded at least 100GB from College, that connection is FAAAAAAAAAAAAST. It might be that the proxy has disabled cookies, which would be why you're still having troubles logging in.

Is it? omg, ours is like ZUM. We use the Uni internet though, hehehehe. I download onto my 80Gig iPod usually, take it home and put it on my 1TB hard drive, om nom. I just realised, yeah it will be cuz you're downloading without the pw, it'll download the website. I tried downloading something using just the filename, and it DID NOT like it. Downloaded a .html file instead.
