    Default Brain Aneurysm

Well, three years ago my mum was at a concert 1 year ago and her Brain Aneurysm ruptured, no one knew that it was there including my mother. Luckily, everything was fine. She had the operation to have coils put around the Aneurysm and everything was good. No more worrying.

Now, two years ago the doctors have discovered there is a second Brain Aneurysm right beside the one that got coiled. The problem is though, if one of them ruptures, so does the other one, and pretty much there is a 0% chance that my mother will survive.

This is where I'm worried. Recently she has been getting a lot of check-ups, basically an MRI and an Angio every 3 months. Which according to my mother is very un-usual, and something probably isn't right. This is probably an indication that the Aneurysm is getting bigger (growing if you will).

I know this sounds very selfish, but, i know they are sometimes genetic and so on, and I'm worried that I may have one... I've asked for an MRI but according to the doctors, i can't actually request one until I'm 18 because they normally don't occur till 35-60 years old. (Unless of course there is something definitely wrong... i'm 15 btw.)

I'm just wondering if anyone has went through something similar to me, or has any advice etc.

    Thanks,
    Kyle.
