Every Christmas is the same; we write Santa a list of what we would like, throw it up our chimneys and off it goes to Lapland. Then, on Christmas morning, we run to our stockings and Christmas trees to find presents galore delivered by good ol' Saint Nick.

Have we ever asked him what he wants for Christmas? NO! So on my note this year I asked Santa what he wanted, and the next day I got his reply...

"All I really want for Christmas is a poem, for me, about what christmas means to the users of Habbox Forum!"

There you have it - that's what the man in red wants, so this month, I want you all to write a poem about Christmas and what it means to you. They don't have to rhyme and the entry that oozes creativity will win!Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

    The sleepless night soon comes
Children in there beds thiddling with there thumbs

Santa getting in with no key
Putting the present underneath the christmas tree

Morning comes and they race downstairs
    Opening there presents, nothing compares

A sunday dinner, slaved over all day
And seeing the snow just fall and just lay

Children running around excited by what they see
Trying to not knock over the decorated christmas tree

Laughter and fun spent with your whole family
Peoples faces lit up full of glee

But christmas is soon over, sadly it is
Time to write up another christmas list
Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?

    Christmas is fun
    When it snows

I always catch a cold and blow my nose

    Christmas Tree, Christmas Tree
    Are you in the grass
No Santa got angry, so I stuck it up your chimney

    Night time falls on 24/12s
    And each year I gotta wonder about them little elves;
Working all hours for my man Saint Nick,
While he just lays down with Mrs. Clause on his -
Dear me is that the time? Don't it fly?
Getting near the hour of the Great Moose In The Sky,
Best move your caboose jolly man and say "'bye"
To the wife and the elves 'cause I'm going out of mind:
Been sat by the fire with a glass of Buck's Fizz
And I'm getting so excited that I'm about to -
Bubble over, the birth of the Son of Jehovah
Far from sober but the Father's coming over
With the Santa Sled, all dressed up in red
Having ditched the Green because of what Coke said.
So now I hear him on the roof cussing at the cold
Swears that after all this time he's still not got too old
To stop by every single year for a drink with me
Mulled wine, yeah we're getting all Christmassy,
Another glass? He can't pass up the chance to relax
No fear of being late: Santa magic fill the cracks
In time, so he's mine for now and we'll just sit
Here and drink and know in the morning we'll feel -
Superb, because it's the holiday season
Chug back another we don't need a better reason
My mythical friend, let's pretend you're not working tonight
Stick about another hour then I'll let you take flight
And would the reindeer like a carrot? Or some water?
How's the missus? And how's your lovely daughter?
Are the elves all that cheerful? Swear I heard you say once
That you thought they were all just a bunch of little -
Cheeky whatsits, but hey I guess now with a hop-skip and a jump
You best be off to spread Christmas cheer around this dump,
Big Papa Noelle, I won't let you drink drive
Let the reindeer steer, here, have a beer for the ride,
Now back up that chimney and off you creep
'Cause I'm going to bed but perhaps not to sleep
You see my girl's upstairs and if there's any luck
She won't be too tired and I'm not too drunk to -
    The end.

    My Entry:

On Christmas Eve, a young boy with light in his eyes
Looked deep into Santa's, to Santa's surprise
And said as he sat on Santa's broad knee,
"I want your secret. Tell it to me."

He leaned up and whispered in Santa's good ear
"How do you do it, year after year?"
"I want to know how, as you travel about,
Giving gifts here and there, you never run out.

How is it, Dear Santa, that in your pack of toys
You have plenty for all of the world's girls and boys?
Stays so full, never empties, as you make your way
around the whole world, The reindeer pulling your sleigh

From rooftop to rooftop, to homes large and small,
From nation to nation, reaching them all?"
And Santa smiled kindly and said to the boy,
"Don't ask me hard questions. Don't you want a toy?"

But the child shook his head, and Santa could see
That he needed the answer. "Now listen to me,"
He told that small boy with the light in his eyes,
"My secret will make you sadder and wise.

"The truth is that my sack is magic. Inside
It holds millions of toys for my Christmas Eve ride.
But although I do visit each girl and each boy
I don't always leave them a gaily wrapped toy.

Some homes are hungry, some homes are sad,
Some homes are desperate, some homes are bad.
Some homes are broken, and the children there grieve.
Those homes I visit, but what should I leave?

"My sleigh is filled with the happiest stuff,
But for homes where despair lives toys aren't enough.
So I tiptoe in, kiss each girl and boy,
And I pray with them that they'll be given the joy

Of the spirit of Christmas, the spirit that lives
In the heart of the dear child who gets not, but gives.
"If only God hears me and answers my prayer,
When I visit next year, what I will find there

Are homes filled with peace, and with giving, and love
And boys and girls gifted with light from above.
It's a very hard task, my smart little brother,
To give toys to some, and to give prayers to others.

But the prayers are the best gifts, the best gifts indeed,
For God has a way of meeting each need.
"That's part of the answer. The rest, my dear youth,
Is that my sack is magic. And that is the truth.

In my sack I carry on Christmas Eve day
More love than a Santa could ever give away.
The sack never empties of love, or of joys
`Cause inside it are prayers, and hope. Not just toys.

The more that I give, the fuller it seems,
Because giving is my way of fulfilling dreams.
"And do you know something? You've got a sack, too.
It's as magic as mine and it's inside of you.

It never gets empty, it's full from the start.
It's the center of lights, and love. It's your heart.
And if on this Christmas you want to help me,
Don't be so concerned with the gifts 'neath your tree.

Open that sack called your heart, and share
Your joy, your friendship, your wealth, your care."
The light in the small boy's eyes was glowing.
"Thanks for your secret. I've got to be going."

"Wait, little boy," Said Santa, "don't go.
Will you share? Will you help? Will you use what you know?"
And just for a moment the small boy stood still,
Touched his heart with his small hand and whispered, "I will."
