    Default Bathers

I have a question about bathers. I've been losing weight lately, but I still have a stomach. And... always have had a large top half. The last times I've had bathers, I've had one pieces that sort of squish me flat, and basically, it's uncomfortable and I don't think it's very flattering.

I'm not thin enough to feel comfortable wearing a bikini. I was thinking a tankini, and wearing boardshorts as well (which I'd be doing anyway, because I don't want my thighs showing) but, does the tanktop part roll up? And I'd be getting ones with padding or underwiring so that it doesn't just squish me.
There were also some one pieces with underwires... but is that too 'old'? Like, what an old lady would wear?
I have *no* idea what is 'acceptable' for me to wear, fashionwise, and what wouldn't embarrass me by rolling up or looking horrible. I'm a pear shape if it helps.

I have no idea what youre talking about but im sure a female would know more than a male about that, but about the underwires being too 'old' i doubt an old lady is going to wear a bikini/tankini anyway lol, gl.

Tankinis are actually quite popular amongst the middle aged too- it covers their stomach more modestly.

When I was younger I always associated full bathers with underwires with middle aged women who needed extra support because they were saggy. Now I'm looking and I'm going 'actually that looks more comfortable and more flattering...'

I ended up getting two really nice one pieces with padded 'upstairs' cups. They look like vintage swimsuits, it's great! And I've been swimming four times this week.
