Thumbs up Mighty Mouse and Keyboard

I really like macs, and especially the mice and keyboards.
I'm gradually converting over to mac, and I am getting a Mac Mini for my Birthday (September).

Can I buy the keyboard and mouse now?

    Are they compatible with PCs?

It is possible with some of the older one's yeah but I don't think so with the newer one's. It's not particularly desirable to use the keyboard (or mouse) with Windows as there's numerous differences between the two.

There are ways to get the Aluminum Apple keyboards and Mighty Mice (Wired only) on Windows computers, but you need to have a Boot Camp CD or a OS X Leopard 10.5.x CD which will have the files for the keyboard on.
Also you'll need to Google a lot and tinker with your systems registry.

    I hope that helps.

The Apple keyboard is good but the Mighty Mouse is not, i would go with a different mouse.

I like my mighty mouse - Although now and again the ball stops working right lol

@OP - I'm not entirely sure, I have seen some people using them on Windows (but I am not sure how functional) - I know my Aluminum keyboard works just fine on Windows machine (xp) fine as it installed the drivers automatically when I plugged it in.

Keyboard is excellent, nice, lighweight, quiet keys. Dont bother with the mouse, mine broke after 3 months, the scrollball buggars up and im not buying a new one.
