Thread: Some NEW.

  1. #1

    Default Some NEW.

OK, so lately everything on the internet has ben repeating itself over and over again. How many social networking sites are there, and virtual worlds. Everything is just such a bore now.

I recon someone needs to come up with something thats BRAND new on the web. Because absouloutly EVERYTHING has been done before.

I had an idea, but I don't have the sufficient knowledge to do it. It was pretty unique too, would definetly get alot of publicity and would get some charities involved too because they'd be interested in the idea also...

but as I said, no sufficient knowledge.

If everything has been done, how can you do something new?

Something which I'm not inclined to say lol. I think it could actually be successful, if I bothered to... which I might, when I'm in uni... possibly. It's on my mind.

To step forward you have to get the world to move with you. The newest thing on the block was iPhone apps, now they're becoming a bit of old news. Still until someone major decides to redevelop how someone browses the web not much can be done.

GPS based systems allowed iPhones to become quickly useful however the same can not be done for a desktop computer. The GPS functionality allowed you to instantly ingage with the people and things close to you rather than working it out for yourself.

I don't know if the next best thing is going to be a website, as it's extremely hard to come into any market now as social networks really cover it all. MySpace for example has news, music, video, chat, friends, pictures, forums, classifieds and anything else you care to mention. It's unreal for someone to find a niche industry that can be turned into a mainstream one without the help of the already famous big names such as MySpace, Facebook, Google, Yahoo and Microsoft.

I see the future as being something related with the internet but not actually a website. The iPhone done it for mobility of the internet now something has to do it for the "collection" of the internet (which I believe Google is currently in the process of doing from what I've heard on BBC's Click).
