I agree this rule is a bit shady and could do with being clarified, perhaps even updated but it doesn't put you in the right just cause they didn't get warned. They should be warned just like you did, that is if they haven't already checked that all parties agree to the posting of the chat log.

The best way is either to get your friend to post saying he approves of them being posted or simply wait for a moderator to query you and then show them proof so they can reverse their actions but there is various difficulties with this as how can you prove who someone is?

I can see alot of people saying:

"Can I post this on habboxforum.com please?"

My point is, the moderators are unclear on the rule, one minute they take action, the next they dont.

Either take action on all posts or none, not some and leave others...

& What if they dont use Hxf but the comments was funny?.. Or was on myspace/facebook/bebo thats a PUBLIC space, so its not PRIATE, but should be allowed.

    The rule is:

A5. Do not post private details or information – We do not allow you to post private information about yourself due to security concerns. Disclosing any information about another user without their consent is also not allowed. This includes
    Personal details
    Private messages
    Reputation comments
    Private conversations (MSN, Habbo, etc.)
Images / videos of the user or social networking profiles (Bebo, Facebook, etc.)
Trying to organize real life meet-ups
In this case, since the conversation was with someone who isn't a user, posting the chatlog is fine. Both lAscend and Alkaz were acting on the old rule which stated that no chat logs at all could be posted, but the rules were re-written in october (when Alkaz was away I believe) to only include information about users which is why the edit was made in the first place. The edit will be reversed, sorry for the situation
