Anyone else got one? I bought mine off ebay and it had this weird oil stain after I washed it. I looked it up on the internet and it turns out loads of other peoples JLS hoodies have oil stains on too..

I wouldn't buy one , ever i dont think
I didn't have you down as a JLS fan... I thought they were pretty bad!
I'm not a JLS fan, i was a Diana fan but as far as I know they dont have diana vickers hoodies.
The JLS hoodies just starting to get in fashion around here by the way. Also I can't return it since it was 2 weeks later that i noticed the stain and he only refunds if you return it within 7 days![]()
I'd never buy one of those let alone wear it.
No more dreaming of the dead as the death itself was undone
No more crawling like a crow for a boy, for a body in the garden
No more dreaming like a girl so in love, so long
No more dreaming like a girl so in love, so long
Dreaming like a girl so in love with the wrong world.
You have a statutory right under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) to a refund – technically the contract will be rescinded. Seven days is policy, but your statutory right will relate to a 'reasonable' amount of time... which can even extend up to six months. Two weeks would clearly fit under what is classed as 'reasonable'. If you wanted a refund because you didn't like the colour, that's a different ball game... but in this scenario it's not of 'satisfactory quality' if it comes with an oil stain, is it?I'm not a JLS fan, i was a Diana fan but as far as I know they dont have diana vickers hoodies.

There would be a lot of factors involved in establishing a breach, but you should send an email genuinely explaining your situation, that you were not told of this mark before you received the top. Failing that, ask how it is reasonable to expect a stain to exist, and mention that you can rely on the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) if the person you are dealing with is uncooperative. As I said, there would be many factors to consider to establish breach, but hopefully you wouldn't get too much back-chat anyway.
And no, I wouldn't buy one of those tops. I'd wear an outfit made completely out of cardboard before I even considered wearing one of those.
