    Default Ahhh Injections tomorrow :(

Well tomorrow I'm starting my course of injections and getting one off injections for when i go to abroad this year and I've never really been a fan of injections and last one i had was in the roof of my mouth for a tooth extraction and damn did that hurt but these will be in my arms and legs and I'm really nervous I've got to have:

    Tetanus
    Polio
    Typhoid
    Diphtheria
    Hepatitis A
    Hepatitis B
    BCG

Any of you guys had these and does anyone have any tips on how to stay calm?

Yeah, Just don't start staring at the needle. I was like waiting for her to do it, then I was like is it done? She went yeah. Didn't really feel it. Good luck, many people hate injections

Tetanus, Polio and Diphtheria are all in one injection which isnt too bad, from my recollection this didnt hurt to much. The BCG, have you had the 5 needle test you to see if you can have it? If not then you shouldnt be having it done, if yes then prepare for a bit of a sting. It doesnt hurt but the liquid does start to sting for about a minute after and your arm may go a bit num for five minutes but thats ok. I am not sure about the rest, surely you have them in like year 6 and 3? I am not sure.

Anyway, normal injections in your arm are no were as bad as injections in your mouth, in your mouth its going through quiet sensitive gums and goes through to the bone in your mouth where the ones in your arm, the skin is less sensitive and their is more fat on your arm to protect it so it shouldnt hurt too much. If you dont like needles then just look away, you cannot normally feel much

+ Im sure that the BCG can only be given in schools? I missed mine and they had to come in 2 weeks later to do just me, the doctors werent aloud to give me that injection?

    You shouldn't worry about them
Like the person above me said, nowhere near as painful (believe me) and try not to be nervous! If you tense your muscles then that will just make it hurt more , so relax

I never had the BCG. When it was like our time to get it, we all got letters saying we don't need it doing. If we do want it, we got to go to our doctors to get it arranged.

BCG's have been proven to do jack **** lol we didn't need to have one either. I'm not a huge fan of injections just think have it and be immune or don't and die that should stop you worrying, lol.
