My mate just got the red ring of death on his 360, so he unplugged at and shook all the dust out of it. Now it's working again. So, if you do get RROD, try this method before you send it off to Austria or something.

It'll come back, I got the RROD so I turned my 360 off and it was gone. Did this for a week or so and then it died, just warn him
