Do you accept random friend requests?

Do you accept random friend requests on Facebook?

I look at their profile first and see if I have any mutual friends. If they look decent then I'll accept them otherwise I just ignore them. If they have a cartoon dp or picture of say an animal or car then it's an instant ignore as well.

I know a few people who just accept anyone, and I know people who will add anyone they ever meet which is a bit ridiculous.

i was wondering how many of my friends do and quite a lot do which isnt good
i always get random adds and decline them unless i know them or have met them

Nah not really if their profiles fully private without mutual friends and an odd dp I won't accept. If I know thename or think i do then i will.

If they have no mutual friends and I've never heard of them/met them then probably not.

Nope. I don't understand those people who have a gazillion friends on facebook. I wonder just how many of those people they have actually looked in the real-life face.

If I have more than 5 mutual friends then I accept even if I have never heard of them. I think if they have sent me a request then surely they've seen me around school/heard of me, otherwise they wouldn't of added me.

(Charlie clearly accepts anybody, as she has 9 fb friends.)

If I kinda know who they are or have loads of mutual friends with me then yeah why not. Randoms is definitely not.

When I first joined facebook I accepted everyone, but nowadays not so much. It depends on if I know them very well and they don't live in Ireland, I will accept them, if I don't know them at all and have no mutual friends, it'll be ignored, if they live in Waterford with mutual friends, they'll be accepted. Generally I don't get completely random adds, unless it's like a foreign name, then it'll be ignored. I've only accepted one of those and just had to block them completely afterwards...
