People recoverred accounts, which when viewed narrowly in comparison to other trading (where your perfectly likely to get scammed) led to its removal.
Doubt everything, even this.

because it was far too easy to scam people with selling your accounts, as you could always hack back and doesn't matter if you went first either.
it was fun to do though.

The thing is you can easily remove recoveries now...

If done properly your about as likely to get scammed trading anything else, ie everything removed.
