    Default BTECH.

I choose BTECH for my GCSE Thing

So btech is mainly Business and the normal stuff so my teacher said by the time I finish school I will have

5 GCSE's From the normal stuff we all do
    3 From additional choosen subjects
and 4 From the Btech stuff

So that is 12 GCSE's Is that good?

Well i did a btech ontop of my GCSE's

and im doing a higher level BND known as a national diploma. They are well recognized by colleges universities and work places. GCSE's do not mean that much to be honest if your going onto college. you could do any GCSE's on top of maths, english and ict aswell as your BTECH and every college will accept you aslong as you get c+ on all your GCSE's (some actully say B's and above for higher courses) The BTECH is good because it means you specialize. Colleges don't care if you have this. They care about the GCSE's it equals. Employers on the other hand will see a BTECH in business as a plus and you will more likely be employed than someone who did just GCSE's.

I got told this by my lecturer.

    good luck

Yeah it's very good, but quite unlikely you will get 12.

12 is good, for me I can get round 17, which I might get round 14/13. (Including externals (aviation + public services))

i do btec business studies, i find it a good way to work myself, as in btec teachers can't really help you so you have to get on and do the work yourself, but its fun also (Y) just one thing, if you miss a few lessons you get very far behind due to work you do in btec all gets sent off to the examiners.
